Native integration
The connection one of the vendors already offers between the two tools.
- Good for
- Fast setup and vendor support.
- Watch out for
- Limited to the fields and triggers the vendor chose.
Workflow and integration
Socket Solutions is a Nashville workflow automation and systems integration partner for small businesses and agencies. We map how work moves, connect the tools you already pay for (CRM, accounting, practice software, spreadsheets) and automate routine hand-offs. We measure a workflow before changing it, and keep a named person approving the steps that matter.
Signs
Price it before you fix it. At Nashville metro wages for office and administrative support (BLS, May 2025), every 10 hours a week of retyping, copying and routing costs about $13,031 a year. Our calculator puts a figure on your own team's hours: price retyping and manual hand-offs.
CRM and accounting
Start with what is already there. There are usually three ways to connect two business tools, and we choose by fit, not by vendor.
The connection one of the vendors already offers between the two tools.
A middle layer that moves data between tools on rules you set.
Built against each tool's API when the first two do not fit.
Whichever route fits, the steps are the same: decide which system is the source of truth for each field (customer, invoice, payment status), clean the data on both sides, map the fields, and test with real records before turning it on. We time the double entry before and after so you can see what changed.
AI connectors
Often, yes. Assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude connect to business tools through MCP servers. Our AI Connector Atlas checks the official MCP Registry each week and shows, for each business tool it tracks, whether a server exists and whether the vendor built it.
A registry listing does not prove a connector has been tested or is secure, so we check a connector before your workflow depends on it.
Data cleanup
Automation copies whatever it is given, so messy data spreads faster once it is automated. Before we connect anything, the records need to agree with themselves: duplicate customers merged, fields in the same format, missing details filled in. Cleanup and enrichment come first.
Agencies
Agencies run on intake and drafts, which makes them good first workflows. Three common starting points:
New requests read, sorted and sent to the right person, with the details pulled into your system.
Notes and next steps drafted from a call, for the account lead to check and send.
Briefs, proposals and updates drafted from your past work and your rules.
In each one, a named person reviews before anything reaches a client.
How we work
About two weeks
We sit with your team, map how the work moves, and measure it today. You leave with a plan and a number to beat.
Aim: 45 days or less
The first workflow connected and automated, with a human checkpoint wherever judgment matters.
Alongside the build
Your team learns to run it and owns it, so it does not depend on us.
After launch
We compare against the baseline. If it does not move the number, we tell you.
This is the typical path, not a guarantee. Timing depends on the workflow and the systems involved.
Recruiting
Yes. For an executive recruiting firm, candidate lists now move from the recruiting system through contact enrichment into ready-to-work research sheets, then back into the database. Research that took recruiters about 40 hours a week now takes minutes, and a stage-gate review keeps the data clean. It was live in 40 days.

A workflow automation consultant maps how work moves through your business, finds the steps people repeat by hand, connects the systems involved and automates the routine parts, then measures the result against a baseline. Your team keeps the judgment calls.
Check for a native integration first, then an integration platform, then a custom API connection if neither fits. Decide which system owns each field, clean the data on both sides, map the fields and test with real records before going live.
Intake, call summaries and first drafts are common first workflows. AI reads and routes requests, drafts notes and next steps from calls, and writes first drafts in the agency's voice, with a named person reviewing before anything reaches a client.

The typical path aims for quick wins in 45 days or less after about two weeks of discovery. It depends on the workflow and the systems involved.
We measure how the work runs before we change anything, then compare after. If a quick win does not move the number, we tell you.
Your team. Training is part of every build so your people own the workflow, and we can stay on as your advisor as you grow.
When nothing off the shelf fits the work, or when connecting existing tools would cost more than building the one piece you need. We start with the tools you already pay for.
